weekend...

the last weekend i really really wanted to go somewhere but... we're lazy as always so we spent the sunday in the neighborhood. saturday we spent the morning in the swimming pool with zoeti (as always): she really is something in the water! it's her element - no doubt! she already moves the feet and the arms as a real swimmer and she not afraid when she drink some water! she's my girl!!

and the afternoon... it was all about cleaning :(

i love my house but when it's time to clean i'd prefer to live in a hotel!

sunday we had a late breakfast (almost a brunch!) and we walked around the city centre. the weather was beautiful and this is one of the most amazing winter that i remember!

and we had fun taking pictures!

for lunch we had a d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s leek soup

 i decided to make some muffins with bananas and chocolate! what's more perfect with a tea for an afternoon break?



zoeti had a snack too, with some yogurt... she loved that!

yesterday we've been around for shopping (zoeti. needs a new coat) but we didn't find anything...
anyway we had fun taking pictures!

i LOVE zoeti new dress (H&M) and my new sweater ( Manila Grace)!

When we came back home zoeti was very... hungry!!! that's her relationship with books right now... i keep reading and she keep... eating books!

yesterday my best friend Fede asked me to go out for dinner... he and his fiancèe already told us that they'll get married on the 2nd of June so I was wondering why this dinner.. well .... he asked me to be his best men... ops woman!! it's such a honor!

we know each other since secondary school so... we were there since the very beggining: the choice of university, the "research of the right person", the degree, my wedding, my pregnancy and now his wedding (and hopefully a little baby soon!!). 

what can i say? i'm sure his wedding will be fabolous and i'm looking forward to see both of them excited, looking at each other, saying: lo voglio !

veggie moment...

yesterday i opened the fridge and i found a lot of vegetables... i had to prepare the dinner so... veggie dinner! i made a pie with peppers, leeks, potatoes, chicory and tons of cheese called stracchino.

lazy afternoon

 cookies, hot chocolate and a good book... nothing else needed... with zoeti sleeping in the other room it's time for mommy relax!

these days i'm all about new york... new york books, new york movies... new york cups! i miss soooooooooo much the big apple! we're planning to fly back there in april! can't wait!!

shopping time

sales... sales.... sales.... shopping for me is a slippery slope: if i don't find something in the early 10 minutes my mood becomes very very bad! and get even worst if who comes with me buy something while i'm still looking! i know... i'm a very complicate person! but the last weekend i've surprised even myself: i spent two entirely days trying clothes and shoes and actually finding something that i like!

That's the result... and i've not finished yet!

our new years eve wasn't as i expected... my husband got fever so we not only staied at home, but we didnt' have anything special for dinner... We are planning to have an alternative new years eve in one week!

Anyway i made this little work to celebrate the new year...

then i've cut them..
